Introduction
Kelly Nichols-Scott is a dedicated practitioner
and an instructor whose passion for Thai Yoga
Massage has shaped her career and led her
on an international path of learning and
teaching.
Early Inspiration and International Training
Kelly’s connection with Thai Yoga Massage
was immediate and profound. Within just a few
months of experiencing her first Thai Yoga
Massage, she embarked on a journey to
immerse herself in the traditions and healing
arts of Thailand.
Professional Certifications and
Affiliations
In 2012, Kelly achieved national board certification as an NCBTMB-approved provider.
Two years later, in 2014, she registered with the Thai Healing Alliance, RTT, further solidifying her credentials and commitment to excellence in the field.
In 2016, Kelly studied with Pierce Salguero, scholar of Buddhism and Asian medicine, exploring the Thai
history, theory, and philosophy.
Embracing Osteothai
Kelly’s pursuit of knowledge led her to Osteothai in 2016, discovering a unique approach that bridges
eastern and western modalities under the guidance of David Lutt, the founder and teacher. This new
direction enriched her practice and teaching methods.
Advanced Training and Teaching
In 2019, Kelly advanced her expertise by entering a master Osteothai course with David Lutt and Jorg
Schurpf. After completing the course, she continued sharing these principles with students both in the
United States and internationally.
In 2021, Kelly completed her master’s program of Osteothai, MOT, and became the first American
citizen to graduate.
In 2025, Kelly studied with Thomas Myers, founder and author of Anatomy Trains, Structural Integration
on mapping the whole body fascial and myofascial linkages.

Leadership and Mentorship in Bodywork
Now in her fifteenth year of teaching as a certified course and retreats, Kelly has taught and
collaborated around the world. She actively supports the bodywork community, serving as both a
mentor and a leader within the industry.
Influential Teachers and Gratitude
Throughout her career, Kelly has worked with renowned teachers, including Sunny Klaber (Costa
Rica), Janice Gagnon (California), Jörg Schürp (Switzerland), Krishnatakis (Greece), and Deon
Dewet (California). From Chiang Mai, she trained with Ohm Rinraya at Omsala, master Pichet
Bonthumme, and Pi Jem Tanachon.
Kelly’s sister, Kim Nichols-Cech, was instrumental in inspiring her to become a therapist, planting the
seeds for her future journey. Kelly expresses deep gratitude to her parents, Perry and June Nichols, for the upbringing that supported her path.
