From $500.00Price

Osteothai Retreat | Blossom of the Breath
February 21st - 28th 2026

We will kick off the new year with Osteothai training in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca México at casa Naia, a few kilometers outside of Puerto Escondido.
This is an Osteothai Training retreat with a focus on the breath and balancing the diaphragms. We will observe the 3 body realities, structure, fluidity and energetic within the body mechanism. Releasing where blocked energy is stored, known as pain and suffering using Thai and Osteothai techniques to restore communication for optimal expression of life.

When we have full capacity of our breath within us we have power, health and energy.  Utilizing Thai and Osteothai techniques and principles, we will focus on balancing the diaphragms within the mechanism.
There are many diaphragms in the body from the cranium to the lower legs. These diaphragms are linked by a continuous network of fascia, or connective tissue.
They create space and allow for the free movement of body fluids, such as blood and lymph, which is essential for tissue health.

  • TRAVELER VALUES & GUEST CONDUCT POLICY

While Dragonfly Thai & Osteothai Retreat provides a high level of customer service, our traveler is someone who is easy-going and amenable to change in the diverse and the sometimes-unpredictable challenges that come with travel. It is your responsibility to ask questions and research the Country that you are travelling to, to better understand the culture and way of living. To practice metta first, love and non-harming, so we can be kind, compassionate and respectful to the local people, their culture, religion, way of living and environment.

In signing up for a trip/Retreat with us, you agree to the following:

    • I am open minded, flexible, inherently curious, and enjoy indulging in the moment.
    • I find joy in stepping outside of my comfort zone, open to trying new things, and I am curious to explore a culture completely different from my own.
    • I keep a beginner’s mind, and I am open to learning new things about myself, others and places daily.
    • I understand that this is more than just a “site-seeing vacation” and these Retreats are a place for healing, self-inquiry, self-love, mindfulness, connection, growth and learning. We value each lesson that comes with being out of our day-to-day lives, making changes with an open mind, and value the connections made on the trip with other guests, people we meet, new cultures, and ourselves.
    • I have read the full itinerary and looked at the style of accommodation. If you need any changes or support, you need to reach out Dragonfly Thai & Osteothai Retreat 30 days before the start date to make requests.
    • I understand the retreat I’ve chosen will include physical activities like yoga, walking or other activities such as hiking. I agree that I am physically fit enough to participate or agree that if I choose not to participate in a planned group activity then no alternative plans will be made or paid for.
    • I understand that I am visiting a culture different to my own and things may run differently than they do back at home; things like meals may take longer to be served, the type of food will be different, how its cooked and prepared may also be different. I will be open to and patient with these cultural differences.
    • I understand that last-minute changes to the itinerary or accommodations are always possible, especially if there is any unusual weather (but I know the Dragonfly Thai & Osteothai Retreat team will communicate changes beforehand, whenever they can).
    • I also understand that, sometimes, things happen—flights are delayed, bad weather kicks in, I will do my best to be prepared and go with the flow.
    • I understand that I can opt out of any activities on the itinerary, whenever I want. I do encourage you to try to participate in all of the activities/practices and workshops that you can. (But I will make sure to communicate this clearly to the retreat leaders.)
    • I understand that if issues come up on the trip, I will let my Retreat Leader know so any concerns that I may have can be addressed and worked through.
    • Inclusivity is the name of the game, and everyone can sit at our table regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity or religious or political views.
    • I give permission for photos and short video clips to be taken for the use of advertising by Dragonfly Thai & Osteothai in the future. If you are asked to give a video testimony, you can opt out and say no, but if you agree that can be used in the future online and in advertising.

This will also be the case where it is discovered that you have committed a criminal act (such as causing damage). In this case we will not meet any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the Retreat nor refund you for any unused services.

When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss (reasonably estimated if not precisely known) must be made direct to the accommodation owner or manager or other supplier or to us as soon as possible. You should ensure you have appropriate travel insurance to protect you if this situation arises.

Any clients who have taken part in racist / offensive / abusive or any other form of discriminatory or threatening behavior to any of our clients, staff, the company or to any third party will be excluded from the Retreat and will receive no refund for any missed services or accommodation. They will also be excluded in any other future Retreats and reserve the right to cancel any future booking with no refund or compensation.
